I procrastinate also. Why? I have no idea. I always put things off to the last minute making me late. My husband tells me because I like the rush I get from having to hustle last minute trying to beat the clock. I really don't know why. A lot of people are procrastinators.

I'm the same way, as Im sure a lot of people are. If its schoolwork you dont really need in life ( I.E. highschool math homework if you just want be a writer) then it doesnt matter. If its getting in the way of things that are important to you, however, then you have to prioritize.

Just try a little harder to keep all your attention focused on completing the task at hand and you should be okay. Also, a lot of people start daydreaming and generally being hyper or spazzy if theyre not getting enough in their diet, so its important to make sure you always eat well, and quench your thirst.

I always used to do my homework at the last minute and curse myself for leaving it so late and as a consequence having to get up at 2 in the morning to do it. I still did it the next time and the next though. some people work better under pressure as long as your grades aren't suffering it really doesn't matter too much. I found on the rare occasion i did do my homework in anyway advanced of the deadline I always got lower grades than when I did it last minute. Don't worry about it just accept who you are.

Procrastination is the thief of time. Think of alternate ways of doing your homework. Try listening to music at the same time, maybe this will help balance your thinking. If music is too distracting try preparing snacks before doing your homework, so if you feel like eating, the food is right there and you don't have the temptation to get up and waste more time.

Honestly, I have the same problem as you do. I just can't get myself to do something before hand, making myself believe I have tons of time to spare.
Presently, I'm not so much of a procrastinator, although at times I still do. I suppose it all goes to your "mind-set". I had a change in my course of life, I like what I do now. I get my desired outcomes when I do it, that's why I find it far less harder to skip it. I guess you have to get a goal, a reward, for little things you do, to kick things up a notch. I believe it is rather enjoyable, even for doing chores.
Try it =)

well homework sucks, nobody likes doing it, that's why you put it off. Because you don't want to do it and you hope that later you'll feel like doing it more than you do now. So you say I'll do it later. And the daydreaming and stuff... well maybe you have some of that wonderful substance they call A.D.D.

I've acquired matters like putting earrings. I am going to do anything approximately it one day ... I suppose procrastination is not always a loss of motivation up to a loss of esteem and skills of what precisely to do.

Same question, different source; therefore different answer. Someone once asked me this question and my answer is the opposite of what I will tell you.

That is just the way you are. Everyone has a different amount, but we all are guilty of procrastination.
