wow cool i live there
are you military or just moving there
cause i go to the military school but have lived on guam all my life
well just to let you know guam has basically two kind of weather
either hot or raining. it gets really really hot most of the time but right now we're on the rainny season.
usually the people are nice because guam is almost like one big family... everyone knows everyone.
alot of people on guam really know how to cook good like when there is fiesta or bbq... you'll eat so much haha
the shopping is mostly good in the Tumon (a village) area but it's kind of expensive.
We have alot of japanese tourist here...
don't expect alot of big buildings and stuff cause guam is small.... one of the few big place we have is home depot... we have the 2nd biggest in the world... we have some local singers on our radio... some places we have are tarza, talifofo falls, underwater world, fish eye, umm this submarine thing, we have historical sights pertaining to WWII, we also have Chamorro village night. Chamorros are what people from guam are called if you didn't know that. it's basically like a place that celebrates the chamorro culture every wednesday night. the tumon beaches are nice... tumon is the only place that you can really walk around. other than that place you'll need to be getting rides... if you dont already drive. We have alot of different nationalities here. people think we aren't civilized or up to date with technology and stuff but we are... don't worry we have power and everything haha. just remember to bring clothes that aren't too warm and get raincoat or umbrellas. hmm.. thats all i have to say right now. hope this gives you some idea of what to expect. and ignore that guy up there... we do not have wild dingos lol.
