There is no reason why Christians cant. Judaism is part of their past, too.

Sure, why not? That is to say, there is nothing wrong with doing so.
The gospel was good news for the Jews first, remember? If they had accepted Jesus, Christians and Jews would likely celebrate both holidays today, because the Jewish aspect might have never been a separate issue (with obvious exceptions).
Nice question.
God bless you.

If one is a Jewish Christian sure that is fine. Of course Gentile Christians can do that if a Jewish family allows them to celebrate it. And vice versa for Jews if the want to celebrate Christmas also.

What????? How is Hannukah nearer to Chritianity and how are you able to declare that some thing is extra important to Christians than the party of the delivery of Jesus. Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]
Christians can celebrate whatever they want. Do they *have* to celebrate Hannukah? Nope.

No because Christians don't have any use for the temple any more.
I'd be happy to light a menorah though and the middle lamp. I don't wait for the Messiah, He is here and the new temple is His body the Church.

Hanukkah is the Jewish festival of lights commemorating the purification of the Temple in 165 B.C.
Today, 2007 A.D., the Temple are His people, not a building.

If you have someone Jewish to spend it with, not just to get more gifts.
