So me and a friend are looking for an apartment in LA does anyone know of any good websites or something where i can look at some, and also does anyone live around the FIDM school area? if so how is it around there and how much are you paying and how many rooms and ect. thanks

The FIDM in downtown LA.... your best bet is to look around in person. Doing your searches online is not a good idea because only the pricy places are listed on there. If you seek a place near the school, might wanna try in the downtown area, but these days it'll cost you a little more since downtown is on the rise again, so property value is skyrocketing.... if you don't mind sharing the neighborhood with USC students, try Koreatown or Exposition Park near USC. If you don't mind the commute, look elsewhere, maybe a 5-10 mile radius around downtown. You're looking at 800-1000 for a 1bed, maybe 1000-1300 for 2. Good luck!

Well, there's only a handful of apartments in the same zip (90015) as FIDM. If you go to a site like this: http://www.forrent.com/search-apartments-by-zip/90015.php you can expand your area and pick a price range. Just make sure to cross reference the places you're looking at on http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/CA-Los-Angeles.html

something this is in a secure section with sturdy nightlife is going to be costly. la isn't a much less costly place. I propose you reside near to the place you artwork. hit upon a job first after which pass close to it.
