You know what? I think we -all- realize that sin makes our life miserable. Even those of us who are not religious, who do not have a Biblical concept of sin, we all know what 'sin' is and recognize it when we see it in ourselves.

We all do things we know we shouldn't but we do them anyway. We all feel the bad side-effects and after-effects. Sometimes we swear to ourselves we'll never do that again, and sometimes we make good on our promises, sometimes not. Sometimes we are overwhelmed by guilt and other times we shrug and forgive ourselves and go on from there.

This is all part of the human experience. There isn't anyone who doesn't do it. Being religious puts a different light on it, but you don't have to be religious to realize that we all do things we know are wrong and occasionally come to regret it.

Dear helenoft,

Absolutely. i find that when i am in sin and very cognizant of it- that my focus becomes on me- and it robs me of being the person God wants me to be. Most people who know me well- think of me as someone who really does his best to love Jesus by loving others and to put others before myself. Every now and again when i get self-absorbed like that it's miserable and painful and God breaks me and i get back on my knees.

Great Question...

My truth in that respect is that when I am walking with Jesus, and conscious of that He would have be do, and following Him, my life is MUCH better than when I am not. If I get off track, my life does, too. I get back into the Word and prayer, and my life gets back to the wonderful life that He provides.

i'm no longer attempting to sound recommend or something, yet i think of what you like is a certainty verify. God did no longer do this to you. undesirable stuff happens well-known, and no person must be blamed. i are conscious of it sucks, even if it is merely a certainty of existence. The worst element you're able to do in circumstances like it is have self pity. i've got lived with people who hate me my complete existence, and one in all them has even tried to kill me earlier, yet i do no longer enable it get me down. i glance into all the solid issues I even have going, and concentration on preparing for as quickly as I can surely bypass out and make a existence for myself. i'm sorry your mom died. i are conscious of it is between the worst issues that ought to ever take place, however the certainty of the situation is which you're nonetheless alive and he or she isn't. I heavily doubt your mom may well be happy with God if he desperate to end your existence, yet i understand God won't do this besides. He needs you to stay and be happy. lower back, i are conscious of it is stressful, yet you ought to coach your self to have an confident attitude. in case you reside in consistent melancholy, then you certainly are not doing something for your self or all of us else. Your mom would have gave up the ghost, yet once you bear in recommendations her love, then she'll by no skill extremely die. Please attempt to appreciate that it is by no skill going to be your mom's or God's will which you die. you've been scarred, yet stay something of your existence as in case you have been doing it on your mom fairly than your self. undesirable issues take place daily, and human beings the two enable it get to them, or they conflict it, and understand that even nevertheless issues are not suitable, there continues to be plenty it is properly worth dwelling for. i'm hoping you detect peace! solid success :)

Yes !
That Jesus Christ died for All humanity. The Bible is "The Truth".
Once you know the truth, sin makes you feel repulsed, sickened.
If you're saved for REAL.
What grieves God will grieve you as well.

Well, I don't do anything I myself would consider a sin, but if you would consider masturbating, playing violent video games, not believing in God, and getting fondled by my girlfriend sin, then yes, I sin all the friggin' time, and no, it does not affect me at all.

In fact, it's loads of fun.

Some types of sin are pleasurable, until one gets themselves in trouble from it... such as adultery, while other sins such as murder carry the emotional trauma associated with it...

The toll of one's sin on them is directly proportionate to how wicked their heart is.

Sin by whose definition? I have never sinned....Why because I don't follow ancient rules dicatated by ignorant people. Now breaking the law is another story. But My life is great without an imaginary friend or ancient rules.
