Somebody asked earlier why there are so few "original" questions asked in R&S, his assumption was that most questions are just recycled versions of questioned already asked.. This may be largely responsible for this phenom, I have another "theory":
Every original question that challenges religious beleif in any way is overreported by the monkies and gets deleted before it is exposed to a larger audience..

ENt, yes, I asked a Question of CHristians and Muslims if they considered Reality as we experience it evil in their religion.
IN other words, if a human's perception of reality is an evil one which needs to be correcte by faith in god... It was deleted within ten minutes..

I am not sure of how original my question may or may not have been, but I didn't plaguerize it from anywhere that I am aware of...

I've seen and answered several original questions here. Most have not been deleted. Can you give me an example of an "original" question that was silenced?
EDIT - Oh well in that case I would rephrase your question and direct it only toward Christians. That sounds like a fun one to answer. Every question I've ever asked that involved Muslims has been deleted and I've gotten quite a few answers deleted as well. I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone, just stating my experience.

Perhaps many questions are recycled because new users are coming on all the time; they may not look back to see what questions have been recently asked and answered. Sometimes I ask a question that's already been asked several months ago, because as a newbie myself, I don't know those old posters and want to know what the current people on here think.
But if I were a betting person, I'd put money on your theory being right, also.

I think that a main reason people feel the need to constantly recycle questions is that they tend to die very fast. Just now, I broke my own record by getting 42 answers to a question in around 20 minutes. Now, though, I could extend it over and over again and I guarantee it won't get more than two or three more answers.

I fully agree. On a comparative level, I haven't really been asking/answering for all that long (even though I've been a member on here for awhile), but already, I've received many unwarranted "Violation notices" and had questions or answers deleted. And I believe that, most of the time, it boils down to the face that I'm an outspoken Agnostic -- something the Christian zealots in here obviously don't like. I get "thumbs down" on a regular basis for answers that are completely neutral in nature -- but I've mentioned that I'm an Agnostic, too. And even though I ask for a private explanation (and my IMs and email ARE open), I never get them.

Funny -- that's not in any Bible I'VE ever read...

I agree. There are quite a few pre-pubescent children wandering through here. Needless to say, questions get repeated often, and not much original thought. I have had questions deleted as well. I also seem to get reported for many of my answers. I suspect the christian coalition.

This question is very much up to interpretation...
I do have a theory, that is completely my own. My theory is priorities. It has nothing to do with recycled questions... but hey, ya asked.

I've only had about 10 questions/answers deleted, mostly questions. ..... and mostly because I nailed the atheists. Usually my questions only get deleted when I expect them to. Most of my questions aren't.
