if you were dating a guy and he told you he was 39 but in reality was 50 what would you do or say?

meant to say found out he was 50, so the a s s was lying about his age, what would you do or say

It depends on how old YOU are. I am assuming that you are very young. In that case, he is being deceiving just to gain your companionship. If he really had love for you, he would have been honest. Can your trust everything else he said too? That would be my first thought.

Well, I am not saying that lieing is good and the guy in question should not have done so. As far as that question goes I would say kick him to the curb. lol Especially considering that big descrepency I mean if he said he was 39 and he was 42 well that is something that "a lot" of people say and almost expected these days (both men and women do this). However, to say you are 39 when you are 50 is ridiculious! lol

BUT I kinda agree with one of the prior posters. Women engage in ad hoc lies all of the time.

make up=you don't look that good.
high heels=you are not that tall.
girldle=your body is not that tight.
designer jeans=your butt is not that nice.
hair exstensions=your hair is not that long.
fake nails=your real nails are not that nice.
fake chest=your chest was never that big.
fake butt (yes there is such a thing)=your butt was flat prior.
botox=you had wrinkles that you you no longer have.
nose job=your "button" nose used to be big.
tummy tuck=you had a belly you no longer have.

These may not be the same kind of lies as above, certainly not as literal. However, these are lies of omission none the less.

It's funny how women will call men on any lie they tell, but constantly lie to men as an everyday part of their lives that they don't even bother to acknowledge that they are lying.

You're the fool. Altering the way you look by the things you wear is deceiving other people. You are leading them to believe you look differently from how you appear naturally. A deception is a lie and a lie is a deception. You think because you are deceptive all of the time in this way that it is okay, that it is acceptable, and you don't even consider it to be a deception any more. This shows especially by your reaction. But it still is, and it's worse because you do it all of the time and consider it to be okay.

And in this guy's case, you also pretended to be interested in him but when discovering his true age you aren't interested at all. So if some guy sees you without all of the crap you put on to make yourself look better than you really are and doesn't like it and drops your ugly self, then you should feel that's okay too.

No, he shouldn't have lied. But quit pretending that you and other women don't lie as a matter of course every day of their lives.

gosh yeah........not all men are pigs..........this guy told a lie to u jst think how many times did he...............u didnt mentioned ur age so i made my own conclusion ure younger than him..........u didnt mentioned any feelings that u have for him so i suggest u not inlove so y is this still bother u.....?we as ladies normally make the mistake if one guy hurts us than we made at all the men and the world.........and that aint fair............if u like this dude and ure the approiate age towards him than i suggest u have a discussion with him about it............if ure not the approiate age than i recommend u forget about him..........this guy is older than u he might expect much more from u........and i mean much more........he is in other bigger level than u so he can operate things better and faster than u......but it all depends on u wish u all the best

If I love him and want to be with him then the age is not a factor at all. Also, it depends on how old you are. But, you're inlove with the person, not the age.
