negative. Either i am happy or very sad. My emotiona are and always have been in extremes. When i was in a relationship it was a confusing situation. My fights would be like 'go to hell, i hate you' and the next moment 'i love you'. The whole conversation would be filled with these extreme emotions. Even the guy went on to say ' are you a split personality or what'. I am not ablt work out my relations. I fear rejection and abandonment all the time. If my ex wouldnt take my call two or three times, it would anger me and make me feel that he doesnt want me. This behaviour is totally outta control. Could i have BPD? My anger outbursts are also sometimes useless.

You could consider talking with your regular doctor for a referral.

Meanwhile, you could practice counting to 20 in your mind before you respond to ANYONE... it really helps and is a good tool to use, especially when you are feeling upset about something... counting to 20 in your mind will probably stop you from saying mean things or acting out.... it takes practice but i can tell you it works. I'm living proof.

Fear of rejection and abandoment are very common and you can probably thank your parents or some event in your childhood...

I'd also like to say that fighting and lashing out at others is not a way to solve problems. It's very destructive and doesn't touch on the problem at all.

take care and please consider the doctor.

It might also be just conflicting emotions that you haven't learned yet to control and it can even have to do with the way you eat. Excess sugar intake, for example can lead to and be misdiagnosed as schizophenia. try looking over the web site I will give you and then perhaps get a good physical examination including a glucouse tolerance test. Good luck to you!
