my boyfriend wants this for christmas. I don't really understand what it is except that it turns when you do a push up I guess to make it easier or something.. Anyone tried it? Do you think he will be happy with it if I get it for him? Or will he be disappointed with it?

no he wants it because he used to be really ripped from picking up trees all day and then he broke his leg and couldn't work for like 2 years and now he's all scrawny. But there's probably something better I can get him? It's just that his friend got this and told him it was really cool so now he wants it.

I agree with the rest - it's a waste of money. However, many people do love it so if he wants it - he may be one of those people.
For a really great and effective workout tool and something really fun, go with powerball (www.powerballs.com) They're have outstanding ratings and work much better than pushups. Use the following coupon code at the checkout for up to 40% off GENMAY
My younger brother loves his and I got one for my older brother for Christmas. I tried it out too and wow - it really works those muscles.
Check out some reviews from amazon:

Personally, I don't feel that the Perfect Pushup is all that dangerous of a work of apparatus.. The variety of motion offered via the swivel mechanism permits for broader variety of muscle stimulation in each and every pushup... My recommendation is to check out it out your self and notice if you happen to love it...

get it for him, he wants it. i actually got my brother this for christmas and i don't know if it works but i think it does. he'll be happy because he wanted it. what the thing does is it allows you to turn your hands while doing pushups which definitely gets a lot of muscles involved than the regular standard push ups. lets just say it also gives the muscles a twist or different angle to work out which is good when exercising. btw got it at walmart for 20$

My boyfriend wants the same thing! He usually never asks for anything for xmas but he wants this. I cannot find this thing at walmart everywhere I look its like $40. And then there's the Pushup pro which looks the same for half the price. What to do? just get him what he wants

Hi,
I have found you do not need any aids for doing push ups.
I have found great success doing Hindu Pushups. It's a very famous pushup made famous by ancient Indian wrestlers.
The results of doing this have been dramatic.
But don't let that scare you away.
I struggled for many many years in losing weight and getting fit. Finally some bad news about my heart motivated to make big changes. I found this site also. It helped me with great workouts and diet tips that are practical and easy to follow.

Good luck in your fitness quest.

haha what the heck is up with him and wanting that? i think he wants it to impress you! get him something that you defedently know HE would like not something that he wants to use to impress you! ask him about his favorite bands and see if they have a new cd coming out soon that he really wants! Get him a box of chocolate covered cherrys to go with whatever you get him! Give him a huge teddy bear holding a huge heart shaped card! just ask yourself one question, would you really want this for christmas if you were a guy? Hope this helps!

I think anyone would be dissapointed with the perfect pushup. All pushups should be free, and if your getting him something that will make pushups easier, he is not really doing a good pushup. So, I would suggest surprising him for Christmas.
