I always suffer that every morning, trying to find out if they are flipped or not
everybody says that if your contacts are flipped and you put it in your eyes, it comes back out,
but mine doesn't...
how would I know if they are flipped?

place the contact in the crease on the edge of your upturned hand, where the wrinkle forms when you close your palm. close your palm slowly, if the contact's edges bend outward then it is reversed and should be flipped to insert. if the edges fold inward toward each other when you bend your palm then you have the contact set correctly.

The trick is to place the lens on your finger so that a cup is formed. Then, hold the lens up directly in front of your eyes so you're looking at the side of the cup. If the lens forms a "U" with the top edges flared out, it's inside out. If it forms just a "U," it's in the correct position. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/

In my particular case, if my contact lenses are flipped, they just don't feel right on my eyes. They're not uncomfortable or painful but I've noticed that they are more likely to move around when I blink.

I know that I have them in wrong when my eye turns red, waters and it is so uncomfortable, I can't keep my eye open. For me, it never falls out, it actually is harder for me to remove.
