The main consensus among forensic scientists and theological historians is that Jesus had olive coloured skin, and looked like a middle eastern man:

There is no evidence at all to say he was white, it was created in order to bring christianity to Europe.
Knowing that Jesus is a middle easterner, does that change your opinion on them, or on Jesus himself?
I'm not saying all Christians are racist, so please don't be offended if you're a non-racist christian.

Probably not, but I've said Jesus wasn't white before and they thumb-downed me. They probably won't show themselves.

The first men were black, so God is probably black based on the making man in his image nonsense. But, that's kinda odd, if you think about it. I mean, it obviously doesn't change anything about him, but after thinking about it one way for so long, it has to be weird to switch it up. Not that it matters, he's fictional whether he's white or black.

That is completely and utterly fine by me. He could have been purple for all I care. It is an interesting question, to be sure. Centuries of white Christs in churches gets ingrained in the minds of some people, I guess. Interestingly, though, many black churches show Jesus as black, and many Asian churches show him as Asian. Of course, Jesus is often depicted as Hispanic in South America. I think that is what is glorious about Jesus. He represents all people. What color his skin actually was is theologically irrelevant, though a historical, biological, and anthropological artifact of interest.

Yes, it might bother some good-standing Christians like the KKK.
What bothers me is "he looked like a middle eastern man"
Hmm, I'm middle eastern and last time I looked I was white.

I was born and raised in the south and I can tell you that Jesus was never shown as a European. There was a popular picture that hung on everyone's wall when I was a kid and it definitely showed him as a brown man. No one was ever told differently.

do no longer shrink the hair on the facets of your head or clip off the sides of your beard. ~ Leviticus 19:27 do no longer think of that I easily have come to abolish the regulation or the Prophets; I easily have not come to abolish them yet to fulfill them. ~ Matthew 5:17 (Jesus Christ) If Christ got here to fulfill the regulation then he would have adhered to the regulation in Leviticus and for this reason does no longer have shrink the hair on the facets of his head or clip off the sides of the beard. He had no splendor or majesty to attraction to us to him, no longer something in his visual attraction that we could continually choose him. ~ Isaiah fifty 3:2 The scripture above is prophesying approximately Christ. So what ever Christ gave the impact of as a guy he became no longer perfect or perfect in visual attraction. God purposely did no longer exhibit Jesus' finished visual attraction in scripture so as that it does no longer reason conflict between races and peoples appearances. God is love no longer conceitedness.

Jesus was middle-easrtern and a jewish, if that changes how you feel about him then you were never really a christian. I'm white and was raised baptist, and could less what he looked like, he died for mans' sins, that is a pretty big check.

It doesn't bother me. I think he's portrayed as white in order to give us Western folk more identity with him. He clearly had to be darker skinned. There is no way a man lived in a climate like that and was white!

No it has never bothered me. I am honored to know Jesus Christ as my Savior, the color of his skin has nothing to do with serving him. God has no respect in persons, if their white, black, brown, or red he loves them all.

It doesn't bother me in the least. I had always thought that He had to be a man of color living in the climate of the region He was born in.

Before Jesus was born, he existed throughout eternity past, and he is alive today. I don't really think what race he was during the 33 years that he took on human flesh is significant.
