Pft, it's not "beastiality", it's called affection. And it's completely safe as long as you aren't allergic to cats, and as long as you don't have any open mouth wounds, I'm assuming.

I'm pretty sure this isn't safe as cats, especially kittens are very prone to getting worms. Cats lick their butts to clean themselves and they have some pretty scary germ wise stuff in their poop. So, once they lick their butt, then when they are all done, lick their chops..those nasty germs are all over their kitty lips! So, be safe and just kiss him on the head or on his back. They still love it and it's safe for you that way too because yes, people can get the same worms cats have! So, I recommend no kitty lip kissing for you!

Yes, it is safe; and I know from personal experience. It's been 45 years since my last cat and I had an affectionate interlude on the mouth, and he never got sick once! He died from old age though. And I have developed since quite a mustache which resembles feline whiskers rather than the typical manly man type. It helps me when I'm sniffing around the house doing foul odor investigations! My kissing buddy, Pookie, who lived to be a ripe old age of 11 years, had no apparent diseases from our smoochings, although a tad of pyorrhea in the end. To put you at ease, please know that the day she passed from natural causes, she still managed to blow me a nice imaginary kiss from across the room at the veterinarian hospital. Ohh, wait! Did you mean was it safe for me to kiss kitty? Now that's another question, indeed. Meeeowwww!!!

AAwww, its extremely tempting to want to kiss your cute kitten, but I also wouldnt advise it as far as germs go. My little kitten also loves giving kisses, and if he happens to kiss me on my mouth i do straight away go wash my mouth. If my kitten also happens to grab a lick out my cereal bowl i also wont eat from it anymore. I love my kitty dearly but think about the germs they may have caught while out and about, i mean my kitten loves to eat bugs and drink out the toilet etc, lol! try stick to kissing kitty on his little head or on his cheek, thats what i do! and to the person above that wrote that nonsense above about beastiality, pedophilia, scat fetishes etc, GROW UP! you only just have to read the question to know this person clearly loves their kitten and is not into that, so get a life! Hope i helped :-)

i don't know for sure if it is safe
however that behavior is getting kinda on the fringe of what most people view as socially acceptable
just to be safe on both fronts just kiss your kitty on the top of its head lets say
I doubt the Kitty will know the difference or care

Oooh, I just love itty bitty kitties too! But, have you seen what kitten lips have touched? Someone mentioned butt-grooming, but what if kitty is a mouse catcher? Ew! Ick!
However, whatever does not kill us makes us stronger. I doubt you'll die from it, and it's sweet that you love your kitty.

If your kitty has worms, then he can pass them to you!! If you sit back and watch what your kitty is licking, {as in his butt} I think that you will not do this anymore!! Kiss him on his forehead instead!!

It's as safe as anything else. A cat's bite is dangerous they do have bacteria that they transmit in a bite, but other than that if the enjoys it, why not?
