I bought two sets of pet grass-mats (they come in two grass-mats per package), cut them to fit, and zip-tied the ones cut for the slopes to the ladders in my rat's cage. The pet grass-mats seem to be the best, and they're very inexpensive..not to mention my rattie likes to nibble on them as well. Also, it gives your rats a little more grip-security, instead of trying to scale a slipper linoleum slope (if you have a sloped barred ladder, that is).

You can also find them at Petco.

My cages have wire leveling on them. Since they are litter boxed trained I put fleece or some kind of cloth to cover it so their feet dont get hurt.

I have several of those Coast Cages and love them. I lay several sheets of newspaper or cardboard over the wire levels and change them daily, as my gerbils/mice have papertrained themselves and prefer to use the bathroom there instead of in the bedding. It really keeps the cage cleaner.

Well, the bottom level shouldn't have a wire floor. They sell 'mats' made for cage levels to cover the wires at pet shops such as PetSmart. I've never used them, as my rats don't have a wire bottom cage, and they do just fine on the upper levels.

Stick on linoleum tiles work GREAT. Buy the really cheap ones -- you can cut them with scissors. Cut them to fit and stick them in place. They stay in place really well, they last a long time, they are easy to clean, they are CHEAP and they look nice!
Tip: DON'T overlap them. Urine can get trapped between the layers -- PHEW! Cut them to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. It's not hard!
