i dont want to keep reviewing and reviewing because ive ben doing the same stff for 3-4 months you dont get belts once a month only if you know all thats required other than that you get a degree and im allways getting compliments by my instructor and even parents on how hard im working and good im doing and they even gave me a reward for working so hard they say im the most self disciplined and hard working in the class

they say my techniques are perfect and im ready for my yellow belt but its the Sword and Hammer thing on of the Junior Instruvtors forgot to teach me

Um, if you don't know the stuff, you should not be allowed to test. Period.

If you can get to the Dojo early and ask an instructor to help you with this sword and hammer technique, I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you with it, I have sat on the panel to judge for testing and I would help you you should know it in about 5 minutes, even if you do your best on the move but do good on the rest you will pass OK, if I was an the panel I would not expect you do do a perfect job at the techniques because you are only going for your Yellow belt, I look to see if you know the move, understand the move and focus, I hope that helped you and good luck at the grading let us know how you did.

Just do the test and if you fail don't worry about it, look at it as extra experience. After all if your instructor grades once a month you have no worries.

I only grade my students 3-4 times a year so I can make sure they are ready for the test. So far I have only failed one student, which is exceptional because my standards are very high.

Let me say this about your situation.
Do not focus on rank. It has no true meaning. It is abstract. It only exists within the walls of your school.
You should focus on improving yourself and your techniques, not on a title and a colored piece of fabric.
Rank is the worst thing to ever happen to martial arts (besides the invention of the belt factory which came right after rank).

Be careful of your thoughts. You claim to "know" all the techniques. Do you really "know" them. Can you do them with your eyes closed, can you do them backwards.....while teaching others?
Improve yourself and stop worrying about rank.
The only thing worse than rank and belt factories are people who focus on rank.

Good luck.

Once a month ??? What kind of kenpo school is it ? It sounds like a blackbelt factory to me. If your school is legit though, try your best, if you deserve it you will recieve your belt, if not you will know you need to improve and can ask what you need to work on.

if you don't want to keep reviewing and reviewing, you wouldn't get a belt from me.
