Guys! Does the words " I love you" scare you if the girl says it first?

I told my Taiwanese BF I loved him and he turned all weird on me he got quiet but still lets me know that he loves me too...I can't understand him. He stopped talking and just gives me clues. Of course I felt he cared first so I told. Otherwise I wouldn't have told him.

It doesn't bother me. But it may just catch a lot of guys off gaurd.

Some guys are intimidated by "pretty" girls. This may be due to his past or merely TV ("pretty" girls are portrayed as stuck up, bitchy, too into themselves to care about someone else) And believe it or not, most guys are sensitive too. I'm not saying your like the above. But maybe it might help for you to make the move and show them that your anything but that. And maybe take a look at the way you act and talk, you might not mean it. but almost all the time everything we say and do sometimes comes across the wrong way (depending on the mood of others). hope that helps...good luck sunshine! :)

Only if he does not feel the same. As I stated before. This guy seems to have issues that are beyond the realm of comprehension. I don't think they have anything to do with you but as the old cliche states, "Don't put all your eggs in the same basket."

guys like to say it first. if a girl says it first then there is a lot of pressure to respond a certain way. we may or may not be feeling that certain way, but some dudes will say it anyways. would you rather wonder if a guy loves you, or just be lied to? think about it, and keep your trap shut for once.
