And I'm staying with my other brother who's 8 years older than me and who is almost always on the computer in his room, and my parents don't want me to have any friends over to spend the night(s) while their gone, and so I'm just wondering if y'all have any idea's what to do with and with out my brother????(My brother who is going is only 2 years younger and I'm closer to him)Also It's really only the night time that I'm scared about and what to do to keep me from freaking out!!!But I also want tip's for the daytime too!!!!! Hi Cin.......Got some good ideas; I think ?.....First of all....maybe you could make some old fashioned homemade Martha Stewart type Christmas Decorations like stringing popcorn, crafted clay oven-bake ornaments, etc. ?? You could also make sugar-free cookies or brownies for your Dad.---- You could also get your older brother involved by ordering a pizza for the 2 of you & making + sharing Hot Chocolate & those easy bake Chocolate Chip Cookies. After all of the above.....your brother might take the hint & join in the festivities + he will probably be impressed with what you have done.-----Lastly.....You should try & buy some small indoor Christmas light decorations ( like 1 or 2 little 18 " Christmas trees with little lights ) & this will brighten things up during the day & also serve as a night light for you to make the night less scary----God Bless You & A Very Merry Christamas To You - Rebop

Chill out, take some sugar tablets instead of medicine for imaginary complaints, and if you're older brother won't say anything (perhaps he won't notice, since he's always on the computer) duck out to a friend's house and just stay there until your parents and younger brother get home. :-)

What does this have to do with a hypochondriac? Just in case you don't know what this means, it refers to a person that insists they are always sick and constantly run to the doctor with aches and pains and also constantly complain of all their aches and pains that don't even exist. Besides that I would think after living with your brother this long you could talk to him. I'm not sure of your age but you are acting like you are never without mummy and daddy, so if you are that young and you are scared of being without them for one night why are they not taking you with them??????

Will they let you sleep over at a friend's? If not, don't worry so much. See if your brother will watch some movies with you (let him pick them) or let you hang out in his room listening to music or reading while he is on the computer so you won't feel alone. Good luck, and everything will be fine.

Just keep busy! And keep TV or music on for noise and company. All part of growing up is learning how to be alone.

Why don't you talk with your Mom and see if there is a friend of yours that you could stay with. Maybe another family member.
