He's not at your side, He's carrying you.

Do not be afraid to praise God in both the good times and the bad.

When we need Him most, He is always with us. Sometimes you are just so consumed with what's going on, you can't feel Him around you, helping you. Friends and Family can be Gods messanger. But they don't play the role of God.

You don't need God's physical or visual presence to know He's just there. He works through other people who help us when we least expect it. When you feel hope in times of trials or depression, that's God beside you. When you hear your conscience talking to you or when you find yourself loving someone - that's God beside you. We are given what we NEED by God and not what we want. Reasons? Only God knows why.

I'm going to tell you a short story I heard years ago,,, It touched my heart and soul in a way that I have never doubted Gods precious love again.
One night my older brother had a dream he was walking along the beach just talking with God thinking about their footprints their feet made in the soft wet sand. Of the low gentle surf ,in the early morning hours.as he began to think back upon his life . And as it started unfolding before him. When he came to the most troubled and saddest part of his life , he noticed :Suddenly" there was only one set of footprints in the sand...
Troubled, he asked, "Lord Why Did You Leave Me When I needed You the Most?'"
The Lord Replied, "my Child, I would Never Leave You. During your times of Trial, when you see only one set of footprints, it is at these times, I carried you."

He has been there for me through the deaths of both parents, an identical twin, and almost ALL of my loved ones.

He's been there for me through an ileostomy, when I had to miss work for 6 weeks, wear a colostomy bag for 4 months (which REALLY stinks, literally and figuratively), and the reversal, during which time I was in the hospital for 17 days and had to miss work for 4 more weeks.

God DOES love me very much. He was at my side the whole time.

He is there for me every day when I teach crack babies, fetal alcohol syndrome children, SLD children, ADHD children, "project kids," and slow learners.
I;ve been doing this for 26 years.

He's there every day.

There is no "so-called" God for me. He is real.

There is no one like Him for ME.

You think as you please.

He is always "there" just because you don't see him doesn't mean he isn't there. Do you see the wind? No, but you do see the effects of the wind. It is the same with God, even though you may not see him, his presence can be seen everywhere.

G-d always seems to be there when I REALLY need him...and not when I THINK I need him.

I guess he knows when I should be able to deal with things by myself.

But even then, I know I have his support.

No, friends and family play a different, but equally important role. Besides, how do we know that G-d didn't send them to us in our time of need to help?

He's not at my side. When I need Him the most, He carries me through whatever it is that I'm going through. I praise Him in the bad times as well as the good times.

Job 13:15 KJV Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
