Is there a such thing as luggage insurance?

I'm moving and I'd like protection for my luggage because I have a lot of clothing/shoes that are expensive.

Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes there is; the cargo companies do have, you pay an extra bucks and that is all. Ask a clerk for the restrictions, there are a lot.
