my Pastor said God created Aids to stop gay people, is that true?

aids is an occurance to bring down the world population and the only way for it to spread and not kill all people is through sex like the red tide,when there are too many crayfish in the ocean the red tide occurs to bring down the crayfish population,the same as with natural dissasters.but religious folks are always first to use it as punishment of God

This is a prime example of why so many people are driven away from God and His truth... people like this "Pastor" who claim to know God but who really have absolutely no idea who He truly is. These then teach others their own rediculous and biased lies in the name of God.
It's the same mentality that resulted in those two planes destroying the twin towers. People of all "faiths" put their own spin on what they want to be true and then teach it to others as "gospel". Scripture refers to it as "the blind leading the blind".
Not long ago the same type of people embraced the KKK and lynched innocent others in the name of God.

Go to a new church!!! There is no where in the Bible where that is taught. People get AIDS from bad blood tranfusions- how does he explain that?

If God wanted to stop Gay people - he could with a snap of the finger. To suggest that God created AIDS to punish gay people is ludicrous.

Do i believe that the Bible teaches homosexuality is a sin? YES. But as a Christian i am one who seeks to serve those who suffer (AIDS victims being one of the most terrible ways for people to die). People need Jesus' love not condemnation, and to suggest that AIDS is condemnation from God is not biblical.

Your Pastor is not a Man of God, he is stating something as fact that is nowhere spoken of in the Bible. And as a sidenote, God did not create Aids, it was created by man as a population control to control the growth of certain groups of people.

no, I do not believe that is true. First of all gay people are not the only people who get Aids, innocent children and other people are diagnosed with Aids everyday. How can it be a punishment for gays if it is a disease that we all could get.

This is not true! Yes God allows it and maybe as a judgment agaisnt the gay lifstyle, but to say that God created it, sounds wrong to me. I believe that the reason that bad things happen to people is because we live in a fallen world and the Bible says that Satan is the god of this world.
