Anyone heard about the new tattoo ink? It's made with plastics instead of metals, so it can be removed easier. Does anyone have more info??

The Freedom 2 inks are not even on the market yet. They are more about publicity than anything else - I think they keep trying to get more money so it looks good when they have all these media blasts.

The inks themselves are not plastic. They only have black right now and the ink is in tiny capsules or biospheres so when you blast them with laser, they break open, turn the tattoo into crap, but about a month or two it is supposed to be all absorbed by the body.

The problem with this as I see it is that only scratcher work is generally what people want removed and scratchers are not going to pay the extremely high prices for this stuff nor will the general public want to pay double for their tattoos.

I think your talking about Erasable Tattoos. It's not all that good. It doesn't fade it stays the same as normal ink. The only thing good about it is that it takes ONE laser treatment to get rid of the tattoo instead of 3+

Yeah it uses some sort of plastic in places of metals and the dye is vegetable based so when they zap the plastic the dye is safely absorbed by your body.

that is all that i know about it.

My husband heard about it. From what I understand it's actually encased in plastic. I'll ask him to show me the article tomorrow and I'll come back and post it for you.
