There's this girl I posted about earlier. I finally talked to her but she don't talk back to me. I would leave it alone but she giggles and smiles when I say something to her. I catch her glancing at me from time to time. Why does she only smile and not talk? She doesn't seem shy because I've heard her speak to people confidently before. Am I misinterpreting her or something and she really doesn't like me at all? If she does, what can I say to get her to open up to me? Ladies, opinions please.
Btw, I'm a college student.

she is shy...sounds like she really likes you .......... write down your mobile number and give it to her ............ walk upto her and say hi heres my number if you want to text me any time ...smile and walk away ...do all this very quickly so you dont give her time to think about what is hapopening...good luck

yes i would say she is shy with you cause she likes you. With the others you say she's fine thats because she doesn't have feelings for the others. You she digs so she's a bit nervous.
How do you get her to talk. Be gentle and funny keep making her laugh and open her shell more gradually though don't force her or she will retreat and get scared.
Maybe start out more as friends so she doesn't feel any pressure or feels more nervous in time she will losen up as she continues to talk to you it will be like old hat to her. then you can move to the next step. LOL lots of work i know heheh but if your patient you will win her over.
Try getting her to talk about something she likes or knows about. her answers will most likely be short at first but keep pulling those talks out of her. she will loosen up in time.

I'm thinking she likes you if she doesn't talk but smiles and giggles at what you say. You say she talks to other people confidently but not to you, and there are plenty of people who get shy around those they like.

She's scared and it makes her shy around you. Just because you've seen her talk to people doesn't mean she doesn't get nervous. You can take the most out-going person in the world and put him in a cage with a lion and I bet you won't hear much talk coming from him then. Fear changes things.

She's probably gets shy around you. You should talk to her often, and make up easy conversations to make her feel confortable with you.

Maybe you should just sit next to her one day and start chatting away. Eventually she'll get over not being able to talk to you.
