The Question should be--Is Iran willing to provoke the US into war by trying to build NUCLEAR WEAPONS?
Bush won't go to war unless he has proof of their plans to build nuclear devices. He may not be 100 percent certain but if it's more than 50% and he can't get the UN to sanction IRAN he will have no choice.
if Iran is building nuclear weapons. Or if they are are just gathering the pieces for them then they must be stopped now while we will only have to kill a few hundred thousand of them.
If we wait, We risk the lives of millions of people and the destruction of several major economic centers---Including some of our own. Possibly a nuclear exchange that will destroy modern civilization.
It is not an easy choice, but each time that little ACHMEDINJAD stands up and declares that Israel will be consumed by a pillar of fire from the Muslims--it makes it a lot easier.
Bush has a tough road ahead. He needs to keep the enemies of the USA afraid of the USA all the while he is being undermine by his political enemies here at home.
If it takes some tough talk to do that, and the threat of sanctions then by all means let him do that. But if we do not present the enemies such as IRAN with a united front. If the US political parties are divided on not doing anything and threatening war. The Iranian leadership will simple do the same thing. They will threaten our allies, with economic sanctions, and some with destruction all the while they send peace emissaries to the UN trying to get sanctions lifted on their Country by crying they are just misunderstood and scared of the GREAT SATAN.
The only difference is they are a THEOCRACY and have no internal opposition party to counter them. They stifle any descent with imprisonment and death threat. The USA is a REPUBLIC with two very divided political parties. One trying to score points for the next election, the other trying to preserve the USA and the west for generations to come.
Grow up a little would you---it's a dangerous world out there and someday it may be a lot closer to you than you think. Iran already claims to have missiles that can hit EUROPE.

Am not sure people watch the news or not. The politics in that country is messed up. Iran is puching for a conflict in Iran. Whats very messed up is the general population in Iran is Pro US. Iam not a big supporter of Bush but at least he hasnt sat idly by and let the insurgents come to us like another President Did. When it comes to Iran even the Germans and French agree with the US.

What do you mean "will he?" He has been pushing us toward war with Iran for over a year. Even after our own intelligence agency says Iran is NOT developing nuclear weapons, he got on the phone immediately to convince all of our allies that they are still a threat. Why is our president the only leader who is pushing for a war with Iran without even attempting diplomacy? Even Reagan at least talked with our enemies and signed treaties wtih them.

Frankly, I don't think Bush has enough time left in office to do it... and I don't see any President after him (Republican or Democrat) doing anything to Iran, unless provoked (it would have to be something very serious - like a threat to use a nuclear weapon, or if Iran threatened military action against a US ally).

That "report" they found saying Iran halted their weapins thing is complete bs. Iran will be able to get a nuke within a max of 8 or so years, maybe even within 3 years. We won't let that happen, so either we will attack iran or they will attack Israel.

Sure.... Even though most democrats support bombing Iran also... Obama said he'd bomb Iran, and Hillary voted to give bush the power to do so.... Granted its not as obvious as McCain's famous Bomb bom bomb... bomb Iran... but its still pretty clear, none of our front runners like Iran.

merely the Congress has the capability to deliver us to conflict. greater effectual situation approximately them greater desirable than Bush. They sent us to Iraq and are conserving us there with the aid of fact they think of it somewhat is superb for our us of a. The President is merely a fugure head. Has little real capability to do something.
