vaffanculo : vah fahn-KOO-loh

And of course, there's always the popular variant "va fangul."

It's written "vaffanculo" (variants of fangulo or va fangul are southern dialect, not the standard Italian)

Correct pronounce is vahf-fahn-còòl-oh.
Very important is the double sound of the "F" (like in English affairs) and the stress on còol (same sound as English cool)

haha that's funny, people say it so fast, at first I didn't know what they were saying.

what I do? I just say it real fast and hope no one knows I can't really pronounce it properly

p.s. Is that how you spell it?

BS question. If you know Italian, you know that the language is spoken how it's written and vice-versa. I bet you just wanted to say "vaffanculo."
