I have a really good hdmi cable that was purchased separate. I have also checked all settings to see if they were faulty. I also do not use it for online purposes so it never connects to internet. What do I do?? Please help!!!!!! What should I do?

Sounds like somethings broken. Call Sony, you have a one year warranty for the PS3, so you might have to send it in if it has to be replaced or fixed, but It should all be covered by the warranty.

If you have a router and wireless internet the PS3 should connect automatically. That is unless you have changed its settings.

I'd see if the store you bought it from offers a 90 day warranty. If so, find your receipt and take it back to them. If you can't find the receipt but paid with a credit card it should be traceable. If the store doesn't offer that warranty contact Sony. Their number should be on the PS3 box or you can probably find it on their website. They should offer you a replacement or provide you with some assistance. That sucks about a 2 month old system going bad. That happened to me when I bought a PS2. Whatever you do DON'T BUY NEW SYSTEMS AT GAMESTOP. They're great for used systems but their new system warranty SUCKS. But anyway, best of luck.

Contact Sony. They cover their systems at the very least for 90 days. Someone on their end should either be able to walk you through a fix, or find a way to get you a replacement system.
