I am a Certified Dental Assistant. You need to make an app. with your Dentist and get a acrylic nightguard.it is hard. if you have a soft one throw it away,it causes more bruxism."Grinding". I make them all the time my pt.'s are 100% satisfied. I have one as well. they fit very snuggly to your teeth. and you will wake up if your trying to get it out.
Good Luck

A lot of people grind their teeth because of stress. So, to eliminate the grinding, eliminate the stress. If its possible for you: Get massages or pedicures. Do relaxing things. Quit your job for a less stressful one. Meditate or do yoga.
I know is sounds simple, but it might help. Good luck. I'm sorry the night guard isn't working!

JULIA,

THE ONLY WAY TO COMPLETELY STOP THIS IF TO WEAR AN N.T.I. BRUXISM APPLIANCE. SEE THE LINKS BELOW.
