ever since i started taking prozac(30 mg), its like i dont have a need or a want to have sex anymore and when i do have sex i cannot orgasm. regardless if im masterbating or having sex, i just cannot orgasm. i used to have a want to have sex everyday and now i just dont want to anymore. how do i fix this? do you think its the medication i'm on, do i need to switch?

EXTREMELY common with MANY antidepressants - and for both sexes!
I have the "delayed orgasm" response with my Zoloft (which is just fine with my wife), but sadly it has NOT taken my libido, which is sort of an issue, since my wife has almost no libido herself.
You need to either switch meds or find alternative treatments.

hi,
with prozac there is another way that may help. lightly touch the back of ur neck down to the base with ur fingers "not the tips of ur fingers :)" slowly, repeat the process to get used to the sensation on the back of the neck specially the spine and the base of the spine where the brain stem ends. :) i hope that helps. p.s its not a G spot lmao if u have a parterner do the same thing but go from the base of the hair line on the neck and slowly and light touch it using the fingers going down the spine to remote a sensation. i hope thishelps

Ask your MD about adding on some Wellbutrin or switching you to Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin is the one drug that tends to not have sexual side effects.
