If your ok with it, say nothing. If your not, just tell him Listen, I think your adorable but you have to give me a little space". It could be that you were not brought up in a family that showed much affection. Have some empathy for him and understanding because he may of been brought up in a family who was very open to showing affection. You have to do him a favor of telling him he is a bit overbearing for your taste. Explain to him that you just feel a bit sufficated with the attention. Don't yell at him. Just tell him calmly how you feel. That may just be who he is. If he cares for you, he will back off a bit. When your trying to talk to him. Point out the good things he does that makes your heart melt. I do have to add tho, its better to get kissed and adored all day opposed to getting smacked or worse.

The hugging and kissing would be sweet to some degree. Being clingy is just plain annoying.

Hmmm. I'd be a little worried. The best relationships are based on equality and respect between two individuals. Someone who is all up in your business 24/7 might not have enough of their own life and interests to be a good partner for you. The worst thing a girl can do is lose herself in her boyfriend, lose her individuality, her personality, her own interests, just because he wants to be with you all the time. Don't let that happen to you. Good luck....

You'll need your space. But say it to him lightly. If you go off and say it then they end up thinking that you are cheating on them or something. Trust me it's not a good mess to get into. they become nosey and you have no space at all. They become demanding and even more clingy. Some of them may even expect you to change for them...They just make you feel bad if you don't do it, too.

I would hate every minute of that. In some cases, I think clingy guys are worse than clingy girls.

I wouldn't mind the hugging and kissing part, but the wants to know anything and everything part would get pretty annoying! You should definately tell him how you feel, if it's you you are talking about.

Well, I think it's better than the alternative... a guy who pays you practically NO attention at all.
Wanting to know everything about you is a good thing, in my book. Wanting to know everything you're DOING and where you're going and all that is NOT. That's "possessive" and there is a difference.

He needs to get a life. Too clingy can also mean needy, desperate and possibly controlling. Not good at all.

I think that you should very much appreciate it. The older you get, you realize that there's lots of @-holes in the world. Take advantage of the fact that you have a man who loves you so much, instead of out cheating on you.
