my GF left me months ago and i lived her and still loves her for almost 6 years now...what can i do to brighten up my dark holidays as i really cant move on...ive started to turn emo so i think my christmas is going to be black..how shall i turn it white again...im only 17 years old...

I am sorry... But let it go. We all must have our hearts trampled on a few times. It's what makes us stronger. You have shed your tears for what is now a "dead" relationship. Have your funeral over an old picture (burn it, bury it). Get out with the guys, have a beer with dad (you would be surprised how he can help). Got "girl" friends??? Call one out to the mall for some games or movies. Everytime "SHE" popps in your head, stop your foot & say NO!! I will not allow YOU to control ME any longer! You can't man, you can't allow this to tear your world apart. You are going to meet another girl who is going to be good for you, and will never make you ever feel how "she" has made you feel. Now get off your butt, turn on some christmas music, dance around with mom in the kitchen (it would make her day!) help her with baking cookies, or wrapping, or hanging the lights with dad (beer in hand...stay off the ladder). Have a Very Merry Christmas!!! I send you all my Christmas kisses to warm your heart..Good luck!

Go rent the original Black Christmas. It is more scary and creepy than the remake which is just full of gore. I don't even know why the called it a remake. It was nothing like the original except the for the fact that the killer stayed in the attic and some very small details

Keep busy...spreading a little joy around!
Help your Mom or Grandma fix Christmas dinner.
Visit your relatives...
Help a neighbor...rake leaves or something, no charge
Think of kids at school who needs a kind remark & give it
Go to church and make new friends
Sing every day!...Joy to the world, etc.
Keep a journal
If you have brothers or sisters, give them a kind word, too
Make plans for your future: college, career, etc.
Help Mom & Dad however you can this month.
Start thinking about your New Year's resolutions
Learn something new: painting, drawing, woodcraft, etc.
Consider being a volunteer for a search and rescue group or fire dept.

Please, whatever you do, don't turn emo over one girl. I have given this advice a dozen times and I will give it again. It's times like these when you need to spend time with friends and family. When you are with them all your troubles will seem to melt away. Don't spend Christmas alone, whatever you do. Don't waste time being sad. For every minute you are sad you lose 60 seconds of happines. Life is to short man, don't worry, be happy!!!!!!!!!! Here is the lyrics to Bob Marley's song Don't Worry Be Happy. You should read this everytime you feel sad. Don't worry, be happy!!!!

How about learning something from the experience. What could you have done better and will do better in your next relationship? What good qualities did she bring out in you/ you in her? Remember those things and move on.
Get out and socialize, meet new people, enjoy the reason for the season. Do something good for someone else, it will help you to feel good about yourself too.

you have to try and forget her move on it will be hard at first but eventually you will move on. about your black christmas well spend it with your friends family talk to people dont stay home by yourself find ways to destract yourself
