Let me state it this way. If I were walking through the woods and heard a rattle snake rattling I would not wait until it bites me to kill it. I guess islander and some of you others would though, good logic huh?

The way you are apologizing now that our own intelligence is saying Iran's nuclear program is purely civilian?
See - I can take the high ground too and I don't even have to misrepresent your view to do so.
I am not anti-American (I do not know an American who is) and I do believe that Iran should be a concern - I just do not agree with rushing into ill thought out wars that do not benefit anyone.

No. I hold the same belief that EVERY other president prior to George Bush did: that the U.S. should never engage in a pre-emptive strike against another nation. And I fail to undersstand how anyone could think that GW is smarter than all the other presidents combined, including Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy, Reagan, George Bush Sr.
So even if Iran was plotting against us - they have not attacked us. And why is OUR president the only leader in the world who is acting like a cheerleader trying to find every excuse possible to start another war?

When they find out that Iran is actively plotting against us, then, and ONLY THEN, should we take any kind of action whatsoever. I am embarrassed that preemption is, once again, an option on the table here.

Americans must unite to fight against a country trying to be a superpower to dominate the world with perceived irresponsible nuclear arms program.

When we find out the intelligence on Iraq was manicured to fit a radical empire-building, oil hungry agenda, will you apologize to us? Oops, too late.

there is no such thing as people like that being found out wrong..as soon as the truth pops up showing them to have been fools they start talking about something else and ignore their screwups...its a beautiful system really...no accountability
