If you are going to a college that has a medical school they should have a medical book store. You can go to it and they will or should have posters of the circulatory system, nervous system. and even like life size plastic skulls and so on. They would be good to decorate your room with. Also go and look at Amazon.com and see if you can find any posters and things for your walls. They would be cheaper there than at a book store. Good luck. =) I wish I still worked at the hospital I could have gotten you all kinds of odd things form chest wires to aortic grafts and so on. Some of that stuff is kinda fun to play with. We use to take the mammary sizers which were plastic and filled with a gel and throw them at each other. They would sting like heck, but it gave us something to do when we had down time. =)

hmm check on ebay for some med posters or some prints out of old school med books. An idea is to search the library for some older books on medicine with some vintage looking charts and etc. and have them run you off a copy of some of the old charts (or simply do an online search for some) and then you can create a collage in assorted frames that will give it a more classy look than if it was just taped to the wall...
also if you draw or have any friends that draw get someone to draw a picture for you related to the med field or the particular career your going into to hang on your wall (like say youre going to be an nurse, you could have a friend draw you a character of a nurse in classy colors like black white and red only and make it the main focal point of everything on your wall by putting it in the middle)
just some ideas though

As I was reading the details of your question, I thought of the quote by Dr. Cox: Nothing in life worth having comes easily.
Then I thought of a cartoon picture showing a man (or a woman) holding barbells over his head and climbing a flight of stairs, with maybe a backback on the back, and sweat dripping from the forehead.
Also maybe soothing scenes of nature. I always prefer waterfalls, and lakes with mountains. You could arrange these in a diagonal line going across the wall. Any travel magazine contains dozen of beautiful scenes of nature.
You might also have pictures of beautiful models, whether male or female (or both together), which likely would draw your eyes most of the time. With nature as a background to them.

You could get some tole paint or even crayons in bright colors and write medical information on your walls. Try using diffenent styles of writing and different sizes.
Also check out the scrap book stuff for medical ones. You can get photo albums that the pages come out of. Take some photo's that interest you around a hospital and put one or 2 in the pages with some of the scrap book things and hang them. Instead of the photo album pages you can also use a cork board.

Hello I have an idea go to uppercaseliving. You can pick from a whole catalog of words and saying or make your own. They are vinyl and look like someone painted on your walls. VERY inexpensive and removable. They are great. You can use my demo id 133701 and code CAMP to get on and make your own if you want. ANY size pretty much. Hope this helps.

is that white or cream, white is so flat unless it's accentuated with other decors, furnitures, and your posters. Good it isn't bright colors, as bright yellow, orange, red, bc i have read articles about the effects of colors on the occupants and there was this case about a kid going blind but the medical fields could not detect any eye muscular degeneration, his diets, not until someone suggested to check on the colors of his dwellings as he read british medical journals with reference of using color rays for healing.

You could trace a border that looks like the jagged line on the heart monitor (I guess that's what it is).
