I live in Ohio and i lover snow days. Usually the most i get in the winter season though is around 5 or 6. This year i have already had 1 and i am hoping to have one tomorrow too because its my birthday tomorrow and wouldnt that be awesome to have a snow day on your birthday! =] I have never had any delays but if we would have one i htink that would be so stupid! Australia doesn't really have snow days as no one really lives where it snows but I would think they are wonderful. Spend more time with the kids

We don't have very many snow days around here, but when we do it is a bit of a mixed blessing. On one hand it is nice to snuggle the kids back in the bed and not have to get out in the slush and mess, but on the other, as the day wears on, it can be difficult to keep them entertained and occupied when they're stuck inside. OH, and heaven help us if I am not prepared with things to do if the power is out!

When my kids were younger I loved snow days. They were like found vacation days. Everyone hung around and relaxed, I baked and made soups and stews and everyone got some much needed rest. Now that I am a grandmother I'm pleased that mu grand-kids feel the same.

Well i dont have any kids...But when my Mom was alive She actually thought when we had Snow Days it was a good thing because she didnt want me to hurt myelf trying to get home from the bus stop or get into the school without slipping on ice

I HATE those two hour delay things. I think it's such an inconvenience and I know a lot of parents just keep their children home that day. Especially working parents who drop their kids off at school on their way to work.

Yah snow days are soo much fun! i mean you get to play out in the snow all day, drink hot chocolate and hang with ur friends all instead of skl!!!! its soo much fun even though sometimes it can be inconvenient for parents but just think about, kids wanna chance to be kids!

i am a kid, but snow days rock! in Illinois we get a lot. i always try to think of scenarios to get out of school but a snow day is a total exception.

ugh i hate snow delays. you get all dressed for school and have to wait 2 hrs. but if it were to snow everyday my child would have to go to school.
