my son has been using pine tar soap for a lil over a month now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks.

You can try using a mask like this one...
they work very well...

http://www.care2.com/greenliving/marvelous-masks-guide-to-clays.html

Traditionally, masks are made of clay. Clay absorbs up to two hundred times its weight in water. When clay is made into a paste with water or other liquid and patted over the face and left to dry, it pulls not only impurities from the skin but also moisturizes it.
SIMPLE SOLUTION: However, note that as master herbalist Jeanne Rose notes:
"Every vegetable, fruit, seed, or nut has a place in a facial or body mask. Indeed, masks can be used by any sex and any age of human being and on any part of the body. They are used to clear up pimples or blackheads, exfoliate the outer scaly surface of the skin, refine the pores, nourish, heal and soothe, absorb excess oil, texture the skin's surface, moisturize, hydrate, lubricate, or smooth." - Jeanne Rose's Herbal Body Book
GUIDE TO CLAYS
FOR DRY SKIN: If you choose to use a clay, use a white clay such as French white, or use kaolin or bentonite (light gray); these are least drying.

FOR OILY SKIN: Use green or red clay.

TO NOURISH THE SKIN: Use a mineral-rich black clay from the Dead Sea

This is a good recipe for a skin cleanser that helps with blackheads. http://www.care2.com/greenliving/simple-facial-cleanser.html
I also heard applying a thin layer of elmers glue, let dry and peeling off works like a pore strip.
Good luck and try the recipes above they work really well.
Peace and healthy skin

Try using a blackhead removing tool. Fairly inexpensive process but it does hurt. Cleanse your face and then steam your face over hot water until droplets begin to fall. Squeeze out the blackheads using the tool. Don't forget to use an astringent or toner to reduce pimples and close up pours. Icing your face afterwards also reduces swelling and redness.

Also look into Shisedo's blackhead removal line.

Nose strips work really well. But if you are not wanting to but them, the best way and safe way cause you should squeeze them out yourself (you can't get really bad scars). Is to wash your face with warm water and get a clean wash cloth and apply it your face especially around your nose to open up those pores then slowly wipe area. After close your pores with either a face toner or cold water. Just repeat this daily. Good luck!

I heard those patches you leave on your nose and pull off after ten minutes does wonders. Its recomended that only dermotologist or pros remove blackheads. I don't know why though, I guess they have safer/cleaner tools.

you can try squeezing it out but itll get red and stay that way for a while. plus if you don't clean it then itll just come back. I leave mine anyways

after taking a hot bath and let the hot vapor on my face, I would usually try to take them out, i know that is not fun , but i don't like to have them on my face, so with the tip of my fingures i would sweeze the pus out and you would b surprised what would come out as white, and then the end would be a drop of blood. it would be alittle redish once you do that but wash your face and after a few hours your face would look great. goood luck.
