If you currently feel a craving, then drinking 2 cups of water & going for a 5-minute walk (or any kind of exercise) will kill the craving & help you get motivated again.

& to prevent cravings, get lots of sleep! & sprinkle cinnamon on whatever you can sprinkle it on, it curbs cravings. & make sure you eat a hearty (but healthy!) breakfast, that is the most effective way to prevent cravings.

The best way to curb appetite is to make sure you have adequate whole protein (protein containing all eight of the essential amino acids). Whole protein is usually gotten from meat, fish, eggs, and milk. 40 grams is not excessive at breakfast. You'll be surprised how those hunger feelings go away.

After trying all those ideas then make a diet change. No pure vegetable oils for one month. Buy coconut cooking oil from Wall Mart and taste a little twice a day. In three days you will be amazed. I was. Been on it now five months. Tree oils like olive and animal oils like butter are all good. It is for the evening time especially.

Green Tea helps me, and you can buy it in all different kinds of flavors, too. I drink it all day at work, and it helps me from reaching for the junk food!
