MOTRIN is the brand name of Base drug - IBUPROFEN -
Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It relieves pain and decreases inflammation. Oxycodone (related to codeine) is in a class of drugs called narcotic analgesics. It is a pain reliever.

Symptoms of a ibuprofen (MOTRIN) overdose include slow breathing, dizziness, drowsiness, ringing in the ears, blurred vision, confusion, coma, and death.

First of all you should not give this medication without the advice of a Physician and secondly Overdose than the prescribed dose is very bad and should be avoided so that the patient does not feel bad effects including emergencies. -

Motrin brand ibuprofen is 200 mg, so if you took 4 that woulld be 800 mg. This is safe to take occasionally if the pain is severe enough but if taken regularly, even at lower doses than this, ibuprofen can cause serious liver problems. I don't think you would notice any side effects with just one dose of 800 mg. This is generally the dose DR.s write as prescriptions for severe pain or after surgery.

whats the dose? I take 800mg Rx motrin for sports injuries all the time. typical over the counter i believe 200mg.... so prob nothing. however ODing on pills is a very painful bad way to die usually causing liver failure and if u ODed u should seek medical attention at once.

First of all, what strength of Motrin ? 200 mg, which is regular, or 400 mg which is extra strength.

Most likely 4 will make you very lethargic and sleepy...depending on their tolerance level, it could keep them feeling drowsy the next day.

this is a higher than recommended dose, but you would not have any strange effects....just be careful to follow the bottles instructions in the future...
