I have always been a conservative girl with morals and values. The last year or so I have loosened up a bit, and feel guilty about some of it. However, I still haven't did anything really bad. However, I am going to visit my boyfriend for an entire weekend and he has admitted that he would like to have a few drinks with me over the weekend. I rarely drink, and I am not sure if I should. Having said that, we are both virgins and are mid 20's. Am I about to make a huge mistake ...as in is this too much temptation?

Well, I assume you are not staying with him during the weekend, because then the moral and values you talk here, they have no value then, agree? is not even about moral and values what we are talking here, is about how you feel and what you want to do....The only one who can decide is you, and only you....if you feel you might loose a little control over some drinks...you are right. The alcohol is a bad advisor, if you don't want to drink, it's fine, you might ask for drinks virgins, no alcohol at all, and still enjoy pinna coladas, or margaritas or daiquiries, etc, etc, The only boss on you is yourself.
If you guys are really kind of serious or love each other, everything will come naturally, but if you have any doubts, don't do it and only have fun.
Regardless if he understands or not, you are the one deciding, not him.
I am not going to encourage you but in case you guys want to, take your precautions, you don't want a pregnancy during the weekend..right? As a couple, be responsible and smart, so you can enjoy the future and don't be sorry later....

We should make our decisions in the cold light of reason and then force ourselves to not change our plan in the heat of battle when we're not thinking clearly. Run from temptation.

Please don't go with this "it's all part of learning" stuff. What you do will be with you for a lifetime.

Just because you drink, doesn't mean you have to get drunk. I'm sure you are capable of being responsible. Just don't change your morals to please someone else. In the end only you and God can judge your actions.

You are an adult, it is time for you to make your own choices in life. Yes, some of them may be the wrong choice, but it is part of learning and being an adult.
