Mine does. I have Office 2007 and my default language is set to Spanish.

Also if you don't want your default language to be Spanish, you can just select a language for a particular article.

I assume that what you mean is being able to type accents right into WinWord without using code sequences.

Nope, can't do it. Tough.

Just kidding. You can add all the Spanish diacritical marks easily using the control key and combinations.

Accents are easy. Type pel then stop and hit Ctrl key and the apostrophe at the same time. THEN type the O and N. You end up with "pelon" with accent over the o. Same for all the other vowels.

For a tilde, type Se then stop and hit Ctrl, Shift, and the tilde mark simultaneously. THEN type nor. Should show "senor" with the end properly tilde-ed.

The umlaut over U as in "guero", hit Ctrl and colon before the u.

Works on small or capital case.

For the upside down ! and ?, hit Ctrl, Alt, Shift and the punctuation mark at the same time. to get ¿ ¡

Better yet, once the characters are generated this way, you can cut and paste them into txt files or most internet, email, forum post, and forms...like I just did.

Enjoy

You can find all the letters with the accents and all other letters and signs in the character map. Click on the Windows Start menu, then All Programs (Start » All Programs) on the lower left of your screen. Select Programs » Accessories » System Tools » Character Map. NOTE: On some PC's, the Character Map may be in another location under Accessories or the Start menu. A window should open which displays a series of characters in a grid as in the image below.

Go to the menu item Insert --> Symbol where you can
a) insert letters with accents, one by one
b) see the key combinations ("shortcut keys") that you can use to insert them yourself when you are typing
c) use the AutoCorrect to change multiple (all?) letters in your file to have accents

or use alt and codes right in the spot where you want the accented letter ie.. alt168 and it should do it automatically. You have to know all the codes for it to work..

Yes! There is! There is neat tool called auto-correct!

On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options.
For example, in the Replace box, type, for example a`, then in the with box type á (Alt+0225)
Then click add! Hope this helped!
