k read most of the answers her some are so dumb.if you friend and you agree to do this than its up to you.its not gross, its not disgusting, and its not wrong.it may be weird but not bad weird or good weird just weird bu then again it depends on the person your asking.me i think it its normal for some people and weird for others who have never seen it. i have gay,bi,straight friends and really its no different a kiss is a kiss. you are adult enough to figure out what you want to know what is good for you and what isn't.the decision on you practicing with a girl is no different than practicing with a guy. bottom line, its practicing.be aware that you and your friend may feel wierd after it, but if its a good friendship which im pretty sure is then your friendship will remain that way.

if you want to practice with a girl,go for it.

if not then have confidence in your self and you experience even if it is small.do what you think is best, regardless of other peoples opinions.

I read many years ago in a teen magazine, I think it was seventeen, I am not sure, but in the magazine it stated that there a many women who kissed her friends first for practice before they kissed a guy. It (at that time) was more prevalent that some knew, I cannot remember the percentage but I remember being shocked about how high it was.

If you think it is weird do not do it. I have not done it before either so I cannot tell you if you should.

I suggest you wait until you get a guy you want to give your first kiss too. Let them know they are the first. He will understand.

A good way to practice is to not practice at all. Natural is best don't be too worried. It doesn't take a genius to discover kissing.

If you really do want practice, my advice is to just have fun. Life is too short to worry about whats acceptable in society. You wanna kiss someone of the same-sex? Go for it. What difference does it make?

As long as you are both comfortable with it, which it sounds like you are, then this is totally fine.

I've heard about many people that have done this, most of whom were totally straight.

The fact that you're the same sex doesn't really matter. Even if you did have feelings for eachother, that would be okay too.
And since you don't, go ahead. Experimenting and practicing is totally okay.

In todays culture anything goes, I would advise against it.
But the general concesous is that if you're fine with it then it's fine.

I would add that you shouldn't be too open about it. People may alienate you and think you're a lesbian and call you all kinds of names, and you'll feel crappy.

Again, I am strongly against this.

ps - oh yeah, kissing will come surprisingly natural to you, and if you want ideas, read a sex book, or a book about kissing, that will give you better information than practice on your friend, it seriously will.

There's nothing wrong with being the same sex, but however, this is kinda weird. I don't think this is a good way to practice, your friend's hand does not have a tongue, and it doesn't kiss back. Don't worry, it'll come natural. I bet you catch on right away.

It's easier to not fall in love with your same sex partner if you're straight. I mean, think about it. If its a good guy friend, and you get really good at kissing, your judgment gets cloudy and you will want to push the friendship boundaries. With a same sex buddy, it is more like a class or w/e in your head.

Only have practice partners who are opposite sex if you wouldnt mind hooking up.

Good question!! You should think about it more seriously whilst making pancakes...

Recipe

Serve these pancakes with butter and syrup.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
PREPARATION:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until brown on one side and around edge; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4.

Actually in my opinion it's kinda gross. But it's a good way to explore your sexuality. Anyway I think you should tell your friend thank you but no thanks. Because that could lead to alot of problems. You guys could start being attracted to each other, you could get mad at each other and then tell on each other about that, and a whole host of other problems. My advice is to stick to the old tradition and practice on a pillow.

I don't think it's gross or anything.I wouldn't suggest it I feel like a kiss should be shared with someone you care about. So you can feel that spark.Once he leans in for it you will automatically know what to do... instinct. I really don't see anything wrong with the friend thing as long as you are comfortable with it. I Would feel odd around her. That could be something for you to think about and Good Luck!!!
