This speeding ticket will be reported to the department of transportation (or department of motor vehicles - depends on what state you're in), and their offense file becomes available to your insurance company. When they review your policy, they will pick up the ticket, and will adjust your policy accordingly.

The car is not an issue in a moving violation adjustment.

The ticket will go on your driving record, thus affecting YOUR insurance.

The way around this is to take a Defensive Driving class. Check with the court to see if you are eligible. It may even get you a discount on your car insurance.

The ticket is yours. If you are found guilty, the points are on your license. When your insurance comes up for renewal, your insurance will see your record. So, yes, you are correct it will be yours, not your father's.

Your insurance will be affected because the points go on your license.
