I would think that anything you believe in would give you strength and encouragement. Religion is just a title though. It is your beliefs and your values that are strengthening.

My religion is Islam. It is the relligion which had lead me to
God. A Meciful and Kind God, Who is only a call away. Whenever I call Him, He listens. He accepts my prayer. Even if I do not get the desired thing immeditely, I have the hope that my request would be addressed soon.

When a situation arises, which gives me many possible alternates, I invariably take the one which is as per instructions of my religion and I have never regretted any
decision.

My religion gives me strength because my religious Book
Quran says whatever I get as sustenance is not because of my ability, but it was pre-destine. It makes me humble and
more realistic. I get the confidence, that it was God who gave me yesterday and He will give me tomorrow. So I am
never hopeless.

When I am in pain or depressed. I find comfort and hope. When I am angry, it gives me peace. When people insult and attack me, I am restrained and calm. I have my greatest joy when I practice the principles I have learned. My strength to press on and continue in this hostile and corrosive world comes through it. My greatest strength come from knowing I have the truth about God. I only stand because He makes me stand, or I would fall and break... Journey Well...

Religion itself? A bunch of silly stories come out of it. And it's an interesting topic to study on, proving how something could not be true, and what could be.

No religion here though.
