heloo, I'm a male and 17, my mum is 5'2 and my dad is 5'5 so both short. I am 5'2, my hiehgt bothered me so much i went to a physician and had blood samples and an x-ray. Surpise suprise they said i was fine n just short stature n nothin they can, altho i hava sister who is 3 years younger and 2 inches taller than me...thers no explanation apprently.

All they said is tht ur bones fuse together at the end of puberty, finalising it all...and altho im 17 i hav the bone age of 15.5-16 which apprently is very normal for alot of small people to have a young bone age. Also, apprently excersigin halts growth, especialy exercies to the back as it contarcts the muscles and squaashes them together n despite strengthinin them.

So maybe like me u hava young bone age and we are both prayin to shoot up, or maybe your bones are finalised. either way count yourself lucky tht ur a girl, short girls are with tall n short guys but tall girls wil only b with tall guys! hope this helps, take it easy x x x

Its all odds...nothing is certain...but: If you have had your period, then chances are you are pretty much done growing. Yes, of course there are exceptions, but in the majority of cases, you are most likely done growing. One answer recommended an x-ray. That is an expensive but good way to get a second opinion that is probably very accurate.
5' 2" is just perfect. Don't worry about height...focus on being smart, fit, healthy, etc.

Its hard to say when you will stop growing. But I know that I continued to grow well into college. I was 5'2 when I graduated highschool and I'm 5'6 now. So it is possible you will grow a little more.

"Mid length" never heard it put that way regarding height! Well, you can tell a lot by your parents and grandparents heights as to what you will most likely sprout up to.

If you are female, you are not going to grow much more. If you are a male, you have a few more years of growth and may get as tall as your dad, who, btw is considered of short stature, not mid.

Whatever height to get to finally, be happy with yourself and value who you are inside, where it really counts.

get an x-ray of your hips...you have risers which are lines on your hips that determine how much growing you have left to do.
