Because one day when I had given up on God and was at the lowest point in my life, God sent His Holy Spirit to speak a word directly to my heart saying: "Maybe Jesus really did die for your sins"
With that simple word a wonderful sense of peace and joy and love and hope and understanding filled my heart, driving out the darkness and hopelessness and despair, and I knew in my heart of hearts for the first time that all the things I had heard about Jesus were true - and that God really did love me, and sent His Son from heaven to die for my sins, so that I could live forever with Him.
This was more than 30 years ago, and I have never doubted since that day that Jesus is alive, and that He is able to give me the promised gift of eternal life, if only I continue to trust and obey Him.

The Bible says Jesus came and died on a cross for you and me, thats why everytime you see a cross it reminds you of Jesus or the church, there is something spiritual about it, the Bible says it written in our hearts and minds. I believe in Jesus because I know He is real, I was saved when I was 8 years old, I felt a supernatural presence in my heart, like pure joy, the Bible says we must have that personal relationship in our hearts or we can't go to Heaven, I would encourage you to start going to church, reach out to Jesus and He will reach out to you, The Bible says draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you, seek and ye shall find. Give him a chance with an open and loving heart, Jesus Loves You just the way you are, he loves you unconditionally, He will forgive you of anything you have ever done and start you a new path, Go to church this Sunday, and have a great Christmas season.

I believe in Jesus because Jesus died for us in order for us to have Everlasting Life, in other words, a sacrifice. Jesus is also God's son. I know that Jesus Christ exists because I read the Bible.

hi alexandria, i believe in Jesus because He has saved me from eternal torment in the afterlife, He has loved me and died for me, even when i was His enemy in sin. He has prospered me and taken care of me for almost 20 years now,He has kept my marriage intact for almost 17 years, when so many of my friends are divorced. He has kept my mind when i thought i was going crazy!! I could go on and on!! Alexandria, i have a personal relationship with the GOD of creation, i simply repented of my sin and asked Him to be my Lord and Savior, and He made Himself so real to me!!Religion cant do that, i call myself a "believer" not a christian, because to be a christian is to be part of a religious system, i read my bible and talk to Him everyday, and YES He answers!!!religion cant do that. If religion is what Jesus is, then i'd rather go back to being drunk and wired all the time, that old lifestyle is better than any religion,BUT serving Jesus is the greatest, here on earth and beyond! even if there was no heaven, what He's done for me will forever be worth it.{there is a heaven ] GOD bless you, try Jesus, He'll blow your hear back!!! remember JESUS not religion

I have always believed in God. The Bible points to Jesus in the Old Testament. I love believing in Jesus because He calls us friend. He layed down His life just for us, to have a way to eternal life. He is always with us when we ask Him to come into our life. God Bless!
