i'm just curious. i would get mad if one of my best friends started dating/hooking up with my older brother. i cant explain why, but i would. What is everyone's oppinions on best friends dating your siblings? It is always something that really pissed me off for some reason and to this day i cant figure it out. HELP!
and the reason i'm asking this is because i really like my brother's best friend..and i feel like the biggest hypocrite in the world.
and also i'm a girl if that makes a difference

i will not get mad.but it's kind of ewww if my best friend date my brother.lol.but if that makes them happy,i'll be happy too.

I don't find that hypocritical because, for whatever reason, that doesn't seem to carry the same significance to men (in general) as it does to women...that is, I don't think we find it particularly bothersome. It's an interesting oddity, but not really worth stressing over.

It's totally normal, but a little awkward..you can't control your feelings just because it's your brother's friend.
