promiscuous us culture?

i've been in the US 2 years and i come from a very conservative country india, you are allowed to date there but its not as open as over here.

thats what i like about the US the most the fact that you can go out with anyone you choose,anyways always end up dating white girls and girls of african decent always turn me down

but one thing i don't get is sex is seen as ok over here, i go out with a girl a couple of times and they seem pretty keen on sex or at least hint towards it. i was brought up in a way in which i was told to wait for sex.

do you think its ok, to just go out and have fun or one should rather wait

a cute blond i go to school with dumped me for the very reason, i liked her a lot , she was a very sweet girl

It really depends. Some people like to wait and others like to have sex much sooner.

Thats the problem here in America.No one RESPECTS sex for what it is anymore.To most people it is just "fun" until someone says "I'm pregnant" or "it ain't mine" or "I got tested and I have aids etc".
Most people jump right into bed and have sex and THEN find out the person is married, or has a b/f or g/f, or they are drug addicts or alcoholics or abusive , or they have NOTHING in common and are not the least bit compatible outside of the bed room.
There are single welfare mothers galore with no dad's to help them raise their kids and most criminals come from these homes and it is just escalating.
Wait until you are married, a girl who would dump you for waiting is not the kind you would want for a wife anyway.

There is a lot of risk to promiscuity... disease, etc.
I think there is great respect to be given to the person who can wait for marriage...
