some one has given me some rock climbing carribiners and i wanted to know the weight limits on is a blackdiamond usa and the numbers on it are .

and the other is a petzl Am'D Pat.

The largest load rating is the rating along the long axis of the biner, with the gate closed. The smaller rating is the rating across the short axis with the gate closed. Some biners have a rating along the long axis with the gate open. The rating is given in KiloNewtons.

23 is the weight rateing closed 7 is the open other then that I'm not sure what the numbers mean sorry.
