Go over his goodness in your life, focus on scripture and what I do is ask him to show you how to meditate day and night for you want to apply scripture to everything you think say and do,ask him to bring out the Christ within you and pray that everything you do glorifies him.

great question- I have grown in this one over the years as a Christian. I could never understand what it met, or how could this be possible. If Jesus is first in your life, no matter what you are doing you can take a few minutes or even seconds to think about Him during the day and night- praying does not have to be long- it can just be a few words. What I have learned is that when I am going about doing my daily things, I can take a few minutes right in the middle of it to praise God for who He is. The moment that I hear of someone needing prayer I will pray for them at that moment- that helps me remember to pray for them later as well. The Lord should be in our heart and mind, 24/7 even when we are busy, so that we can put our thoughts on Him at any time of the day. Try this, look at everything you say and do, as if you were doing it unto the Lord instead of yourself or someone else, and your life will become a constant meditation toward the Lord.

Have a ready prayer or thought of the Lord. There is not one day goes by I don't think of the Lord and talk to him in my heart.

Christians, such as myself, use prayer as the most important tool to interact with God and thinking of him by showing through our actions that we are Christians. When people see me act kind and generous, I want them to think in their minds- that girl is a christian.

Read your Bible then get on your knees and pray. When you get up, purpose in your mind not to lose consciousness of God all day long. Remain in communion with him all day long no matter what you have to do. This is walking with God like Noah , and Enoch and Abraham walked with God. Pray without ceasing.

By thinking about Him as we go about our daily business. Praying silently in our hearts when we are faced with choices, and just simply keeping a contented spirit because we KNOW He is with us.

Jesus said"my words they are spirit and they are life".So be filled with the Spirit, get into His word and it will get into you.The word itself will talk with you for it will fill your heart, nourish your soul and heal your infirmities
