The bible also says the value of pi is exactly three (1 Kings 7:23) -- at a time when even the ancient Egyptians had calculated its value to several decimal places.
If you're going to catch their scripture in a blatant lie, at least use one where they don't have any wiggle room by citing "poetic license" or "metaphor"...

Dude it doesnt teach the Bible is flat. Now ok I know one example people get that from is Revelations where it speaks for the four corners.
Ok first of all revelations is an APOCALYPTIC which pretty much means the stuff there in is SYMBOLIC. So the four corners are SYMBOLIC of the four winds North South East and West.
Center of the Universe comes from the Psalms. However we ourselves use such like phrases.
We say the sun is rising. Is it really? No, we dont really believe it is LITERALLY rising it is just way of saying how we see things.
Same thing. The Bible is NOT all literal. There is lot of figure of speeches and other genre.

Did The Bible say the earth grow to be flat or did human beings overlook approximately The Bible while they made that declare? in the previous testomony, job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in area, the plain assessment being with the around sunlight and moon. A literal translation of job 26:10 is "He defined a circle upon the face of the waters, till the day and nighttime come to an end." A around earth is likewise defined in Isaiah 40:21-22 - "the circle of the earth."

The bible speaks of both the circle of the earth, and the four corners of the earth in Revelation 7:1. As Revelation and Daniel teach we will continue to learn until the end (unless you have a closed mind).
But whether or not the earth is round or flat has nothing to do with the life a man is to live, or the book he chooses to live by. When you read a book to find fault with it, you do yourself a disservice.

You are incorrect. The Bible being scientificaly accurate plainly shows that the earth is round.
Isa 40:22 "22 There is One who is dwelling above the CRICLE of the earth"
Job 26:7 " He is stretching out the north over the empty place,
Hanging the earth upon nothing;"

The Bible also says that bats are birds. There are lots of scientific errors in the Bible. Obviously folks from the Bronze Age who were not allowed to be educated or literate wouldn't have that knowledge.
As far as the flat earth concept, yes it is in the Bible. Try reading it sometime. Satan and Jesus were out in the desert and Jesus was taken to a mountaintop and shown the four corners of the earth. That is not possible with a round/spherical earth.

Matthew does say that Satan took Jesus up to the top of a high mountain and showed him the nations of the earth in all their glory, implying a flat earth if not necessarily stating one. The four corners of the earth is in Isiah.

The Bible starts out with a story, that tells you that the first day, was created on the fourth day. That should give you a clue ( hyperbola ).
