Ok so he has been potty training since he was 2 1/2yrs of age he turned 3 in Oct. When he started he had vry few accidents with peeing in his pants...then he was really good about even waking up at night to go pee if he had to. Now for the past couple of weeks almost every other day he just goes in his pants even after i talk to him or give him time out...so he knows that that's not right...is this what they just go through or am I reading into it too much...should I just shut up and let him be a 3 yr old or what....any suggestions?

it is just a phase that most kids go through even girls. both of my girls had the same problems and they both eventually out grew them so dont be overly grumpy about it it is a problems witht the sensitivity sensations of the bladder of which he has not managed to be able to control yet. this is something he will outgrow and overcome as he gets a little bit older.

Sometime during the night, wake him up and take him to the bathroom to do his thing. This will alleviate the problem, until he gets a bit older and can function himself without your assistance.

NEVER PUNISH HIM FOR ACCIDENTS, THATS YOUR PROBLEM. Just clean him up tell him that he should go in the potty next time. And thats it.

One gal had the same problem.She made her son wear a "girl's pull ups" and that broke him of peeing in his pants.
