I'm trying to help find a home for him. I know if he is full bred, my mom would want him (she's that type of person). She already has 1 BC and a Rat Terrier, although she wants a basset hound. The woman that has him said the vet thought he was full bred.

I already have 4 dogs, or I'd take him.

Looks full bred to me, my neighbor owns a BC, she looked excactly like that as a pup. The brown on the butt is natural, it will grow back eventually.

Thanks for trying to find him a home, that's really nice of you and good luck.
He does look like a full bred border collie. One thing that everyone needs to know before they consider adopting him is that a border collie is a very active, high energy dog. They were bred as herding dogs ( herd cattle, sheep, etc.), so they have LOTS of energy. They need a place to run and play and would not do good as an inside dog like at an apartment or house with no yard. Also, this might help you get him adopted...let people know they are very loyal and protective. Good luck again!

Yes he does, but make sure you can give him alot of attention, this breed demands it.....they do well with other dogs, but you already have 4, make sure you can take care of him, so he does not end back up at the Humane Society again.....he is a very nice looking dog.......and I commend you for adopting him........

He looks pretty full bred to me. You never know though... my pup looks like a straight up german shepard, even though her father is a GSD and her mother is a mutt through and through.
