"According to Johnson and Tieszen, most nonreligious people who know a Christian are former Christians or atheists from the West reacting against Christianity. How should Christians respond to them? Christians should live in such a way that Christ is exalted and love abounds. If Christians live in obedience to the commands of Christ, surely fewer would leave the fold over disharmony. No doubt those having already left Christianity could also benefit from seeing Christians live out the commands of Christ in community."

Well first off, Africa is a continent. So, there are more people in Africa than in Canada. Or at least I think so. So percentages are misleading sometimes.

Second, as much as I hate insulting my own religion, we are extremely ignorant at times, but then again aren't we all?

It does not matter what religion Missionaries are from, all that matters is that they are giving their time and comfort, to the ones who need it. There are a lot of People worldwide who are in need of commodities or Housing, or other related items they might need, what is important, is the People Worldwide, who can contribute, their time and Money should do so, because the one who will reward them is, God. Religion, does not play a part here. Do you know how Much an Actor, or Actress earn when they are contracted for playing a part in a Movie? Those people should be able to afford to contribute some of their Money, to help others who are less fortunate than us.I could go on and on with who can contribute Money,or Commodities, but, those People who would rather benefit from their Wealth, know there are needs, that some of us can and could contribute for a good cause.

The best thing I would advice is, send missionaries to the White House and US army bases to lecture about love, kindness and these things, and also about the history of the Balkans and the heroic fight, over generations, of Christians against Islamic invasions.

Because religions is the best front for any political or any other purposes.
Spain, for instance, colonized many terrritories in the name of Christianity. The Christianity they propagated was entirely strange to some other Christian concepts like the baptist, seventhday, etc....

I don't understand how you got your numbers. According to the 2000 census 70% of Canadians identified themselves as being either Roman Catholic or Protestant Christians.

I think it's important that everyone is being reached. I think we need to spread the Word to our neighborhoods, cities, countries and all around the world. As long as souls are being saved I am happy!
