My younger sister is going to the doctors on friday (tomorrow) to get a tube put down her throat and up her.. well yeah to see about colitis. So she cant eat dark foods for 24 hours and has to take laxatives. Shes been eating alot of jello and popsickles all day and its about 7 now. She was in pain earlier due to ulcers so my dad called the doctor and they said to give her 1 pain killer, but now she keeps throwing up. Do you think her stomach will be cleared enough by tomorrow morning?!

Well im not my parents. Im just wondering because my parents said it was a possibility her stomach wont be cleared enough by tomorrow, if she keeps throwing up the laxatives.
Its their choice to call the doctors and they havent.
They are kind of focused on her right now, they wont even let me in the room.
Im just wondering so I know.

Check out the website called "Web MD". Enter in all of your information and they can help direct you to answers you may be looking for. Obvoiusly asking your Dr. would be the best to do. I would speculate that the pain killer may be upsetting the stomach because it is empty. I will say a prayer for your sister.

the pain killer is whats making her throw up because it irritates your stomach if you dont have food in it. tell her to take some tums, or rolaids and maybe a glass of milk because its liquid and filling. to some saltines maybe or gartorade has electrolites (might settle your stomach) also, herbal tea.

If she has been throwing up then her stomach would be empty... I guess I don't really understand your question.
